Templates give you a starting point for creating content and examples to learn from. Explore how Arist and your organization structure courses, surveys, and nudges, then create your own copy to customize for your audience and schedule.
1. Find a template
On the Content page, select Content library. You can also open it through Create new → Course → Pull from content library.
Choose where to browse:
Arist templates: Templates created by Arist. This tab opens by default.
Your templates: Your organization’s shared templates. Every team sees the same library.
In Your templates, select a folder to open it. Use the navigation path starting with Your templates to return to a parent folder.
To search, enter a term and select a suggestion to preview it, or press Enter to search the selected tab and all its folders. When available, use Filters to narrow results by Topics.
2. Preview a template
Select a template card, or open its three-dot menu and choose Preview.
Use the Outline to read the content. Courses show their welcome message, lessons, and questions; surveys show their welcome message and questions; nudges show their message. Under Details, select About course to read the description and language.
The preview is read-only. Select the back arrow beside the template’s name to return to the library.
Tip: Read the description and some of the content to check that the template fits your audience before using it.
3. Use and customize a template
You can use a template by selecting Use template after previewing it, or directly from the template’s three-dot menu in the library.
Or choose it from the card’s three-dot menu:
Arist creates an editable copy with “Copy” added to its name and opens it in the content editor. You can also find it at the top level of the Content page in your current team. The original template stays unchanged.
Review the content and adjust names, examples, and questions for your audience. See Using the Content Editor for editing instructions and Using Question Types and AI Assessment for question options.
4. Schedule your copy
Your changes save as you go. Your copy has a Draft badge on the Content page until you set a schedule, then a Published badge.
You schedule your copy, not the library template. See Scheduling and Delivering Courses for the steps.
Org Admins and Managers can add and organize templates for the organization. See Managing Your Organization’s Template Library.
