Platform access level: Everyone. This article is for anyone meeting Arist for the first time, from evaluators and brand-new users to learners about to take their first course.
Arist is an AI-powered enablement platform. It identifies what your organization needs its workforce to know, builds the content that closes that gap, and proves the result. Arist Core is the product this help center covers, and it handles the building, the delivering, and the measuring.
Arist Core turns what you already know into short, interactive courses that reach learners in the tools they already use, then measures whether that training moved the number your business cares about. When you are ready to build something yourself, New User Onboarding walks you through your first course step by step.
1. Content that reaches learners where they already work
Training creates value when learners take it, so Arist Core brings the course to the learner rather than asking the learner to come to the course.
In Arist Core, a course is a series of short lessons delivered over days, built around one outcome. Each lesson arrives as a message in the tool the learner already uses: SMS, WhatsApp, Email, Microsoft Teams, Slack, or Arist Messenger. The learner reads the lesson, answers its questions, and moves on with their day, with no LMS login or laptop required.
Lessons are brief and spaced out, so a course fits inside a workday, and learners reply in the same place the lesson arrived.
2. Courses that take minutes to build
An idea becomes a course in minutes, so you can train your learners the same day you decide what they need. Every course starts from the same Build a course window, and you choose how hands-on to be.
Build with AI: Describe your topic and audience, upload your reference material, and Creator drafts a complete, interactive course in minutes. You review and refine every lesson before learners see it.
Pull from content library: Start from a complete, premade course and customize it to your organization.
Start from scratch: Write every lesson yourself in the content editor when you want full control.
Translate an existing course: Translate a finished course with AI into any of Arist Core's 40 supported languages, so one course reaches learners in the language they work in.
Modify an existing course: Take a course you already have and tailor it to a new audience, so strong content gets reused rather than rebuilt.
Whichever path you take, courses are interactive. Lessons ask multiple choice, open-ended, and rating questions, and AI assessment can automatically evaluate written answers against criteria you set.
3. Delivery that runs as a campaign, not a one-time send
Arist Core gets a course to the right learners at the right moment with three building blocks. Cohorts group your learners, schedules control when and how lessons go out, and automations enroll learners the moment they qualify, for example when a new learner is added or another course is completed. That is how a new hire can be learning in their first week.
Courses are not the only thing you can deliver. A nudge is a single timely message with no response required, and a survey is a standalone set of questions that measures what learners know or how they feel before or after a course.
Note: Arist is SOC 2 and GDPR compliant, so message-based delivery works within the security and privacy standards your organization already holds.
4. Measurement that proves the training worked
Every Arist Core campaign follows the same loop. You define outcomes, create content, deliver it, and measure what changed. Learners answer questions inside every course, so you have data from the first lesson onward.
Analytics in Arist Core tells two stories at once. For your learners, it shows who is engaging and who needs a reminder to catch up. For your leadership, completion rate, engagement rate, confidence lift, and the responses learners gave add up to evidence that the training changed something the business is watching. Every dataset can be exported for deeper analysis.
5. Arist Core and Arist Diagnostic
Everything above describes Arist Core, which is one of the two Arist products this help center covers. The other one, Arist Diagnostic, works the other half of the same problem.
Diagnostic is how you find out where the gaps are. It talks to your workforce directly and reads what your organization already knows about them, then shows you which gaps are worth closing and which are costing you the most. When you start from evidence, the training you build is the training your learners need. Once Diagnostic has shown you what to work on, Arist Core is how you build it and prove it worked.
If you build, deliver, or measure training, start with the Getting Started articles in Arist Core. If you are a learner, Taking an Arist Course, Survey, or Nudge shows you exactly what to expect from your first lesson to your last.
